If you are young,good looking and have this new found desire to flash on screen,even a small one,then auditions for Star Networks new Hindi serial might just be the right opportunity to avail of. Post the Delhi round of auditions,producer Harry Baweja of Baweja Movies Pvt Ltd and Shabbir Ahluwalia of Flying Turtle Films have joined hands to produce a new family based show on Star Network and will be hosting auditions for the same in Chandigarh this Friday. There is no dearth of talent in Mumbai,but the rest of the country is a reservoir of talent and we are looking in North India for fresh faces, says Harry,for whom,this show marks the second production of television. Television is the new strong contender and you simply cannot ignore its reach and volume, notes Harry,adding how recession stalled work for individual producers like him in Bollywood. To top it all,a lot of corporates entered and the distribution network faced a collapse too. While films are on his mind,son Harman Baweja too will be making some announcements next month. As for the auditions,they will be held at Jaspal Bhattis Mad Arts School in Industrial Area Mohali,on June 3,10 am onwards. According to Baweja,they are looking at fresh faces to play the leads and the concept requires two girls and a boy,different from the run of the mill television faces.
