Revenue department notifies services guarantee

“The move is aimed to provide transparent,responsive and time-bound services to the common man. As the revenue department is directly related to the masses,it has taken a lead in notifying the time limit for providing various services,” said Revenue Minister Gulab Singh Thakur.

“Patwaris will provide copies of revenue records,reports for issuance of various certificates and entry of mutation on same day,if sought on Monday,Wednesday or Friday. Otherwise,the same will be supplied on the next working day,” he added.

The minister further said that the reports of damages due to any natural calamities will be provided within seven days. Tehsildar/naib tehsildars have been designated as first appellate authority,in case of any complaint.

Different certificates and attestation of affidavits/power of attorneys to be issued or given by tehsildar/naib tehsildars will be issued/given or refused with a speaking order on the same day,if officer is present,Otherwise,they will be issued on the next working day.

Thakur said that registration of deeds or documents to be done by tehsildar/naib tehsildars will be accepted or refused on the same day in case the officer is present in the office. In case the concerned officer was on field visit,the same will be issued on the next working day.
