Punjab declares holiday in Amritsar on ‘Prakash Purab’ of Guru Ramdas

Punjab Government has declared a holiday on October 19, 2024 in Amritsar district in connection with the Prakash Purab of Guru Ramdas.

A spokesperson said that keeping in mind the Prakash Gurpurab of Guru Ramdas, there will be a local holiday in all the government offices, boards, corporations and government educational institutions of Amritsar district on Saturday.

A notification in this regard has also been issued. The holiday has been declared under the Negotiable Instruments Act-1881.
