PU exam on environment postponed to May 22

Due to administrative reasons,the Panjab University (PU) on Thursday canceled its examination in the subject of Environment and Road Safety Education held on April 4 in the evening session. The authorities said that re-examination in the said paper will be held on May 22. The time and centre of the examination will,however,remain the same.

However,around 20 students of DAV College,Sector 10 approached the PU authorities stating that due to reasons unknown to them their names did not figure in the list of the students who had to take the Environment examination. They said that when they reached the examination center of their college they were told that their answer sheets against their roll numbers had not come so they cannot sit for the exam.

When contacted,DAV College,Sector 10,principal B C Josan said,“These students might not have mentioned about the environment exam in their examination form. This is not a serious issue. In three years of graduation,students can give the environment exam at any time. These students were not allowed as we did not get the answers sheets of these students from PU.”
