Members of the Property Consultants Association rued the problems that they were facing allegedly due to the policies of the UT Administration. The members of the association said that the UT Administration had debarred the GPA holder to apply for the issue of No Objection Certificate (NOC) with retrospective affect.
They stated that while there is no provision for obtaining NOC in the rules of Administration in case of freehold property, but still no owner of property can get the sale deed executed without obtaining an NOC. The members demanded that the UT allow the processing of NOC if applied by the GPA holder as it is not possible to find out the original allottee and get NOC applications signed.
Another demand of the association was that the Administration allow transfer of the property of the deceased applied on the basis of registered will without getting public notice published and getting clearance from legal heirs. They also demanded that internal need based changes in commercial buildings be allowed as long as violation does not effect the strength and basic structure of the building.
