Principal and management president in police custody

Vikram Chaudhry and principal Shakti Singh,who are being held responsible for the death of 13 innocent children and van driver,were remanded to police custody for two days when they were produced in the court on Saturday.

Both were absconding since January 2 when the tragedy occurred and were nabbed last night from their hide out at Ambala Cantt.

The driver of the truck Ashok Sikander arrested two days ago was sent to judicial custody. The police had registered a criminal case against the truck driver and two others held responsible for the ghastly road accident with the school van in which 29 children were being carried.

The bereaved parents and guardians have been demanding immediate arrest of the trio and the deputy commissioner Shekher Vidyarthi had assured of their arrest when the residents met him repeatedly. School management president and principal had been absconding for more than three days.
