A DAY after charges were framed against Zulfiqar Khan in a sodomy case by a local court, the police booked his three associates. Out of the three, two, including a woman, were arrested by the police on Tuesday. The trio was alleged to have been threatening the complainants in the case.
Both the accused were produced in a local court which remanded them in judicial custody.
According to the police, the accused who were arrested have been identified as Geeta Devi and Neeraj Kumar, both residents of Sector 25. They have been associated with NGO Theatre Age for long. The third accused who is absconding has been identified as Iqtihar Khan, a nephew of Zulfiqar.

The accused were booked following a complaint by four victims who alleged that they were being threatened by Zulfiqar’s aides. The victims lodged their complaint at the police window on October 28 and alleged that they were being threatened by the trio and were told to vacate the house as it was owned by the Theatre Age.
A case was registered against the trio under sections 341 (wrongful restraint), 452 (house trespass), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code at the Sector 11 police station.
