As many as 11,023 cases, including 1,475 pending cases, were settled in District Courts, Panchkula, during lok adalat here on Saturday.The lok adalat was organised by Haryana State Legal Services Authority all over Haryana including District Courts, Panchkula and Sub-Divisional Kalka.

Total number of 12 benches including two benches at Sub-Divisional Kalka and one bench of PLA, PUS, Panchkula were constituted which were presided over by Ritu Tagore, District and Sessions Judge, Panchkula and other judges.
Various cases related to Public utility services, including transport service, postal or telephone service, power or water supply, service in hospital or dispensary, insurance service up to the value of Rs 25 lakh are brought to Lok Adalats.
