Orientation programme organised for teachers

Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is a pattern of evaluation introduced by the CBSE,New Delhi,for all CBSE affiliated schools,which works under a nine-point grading system for complete holistic development of a child under Formative Assessment that includes co-scholastic activities like quiz,project work,class tests,power point presentations and debates. These assessments are conducted throughout the year to evaluate the child’s performance.

The interactive session was inaugurated in a traditional manner with lamp lighting by Principal/ Manager Madhu Bah,DAV Public Schools,Panchkula Zone. The Science Orientation Programme was taken up affectively by KBDAV-7 Science Faculty,demonstrating interesting classroom experiments that can make teaching learning process more real and related to day-to-day situations.

The Hindi interactive session was equally informative and began with simple Hindi language teaching skills followed by introduction of MCQs in the Question Paper that comes under CCE pattern. Taking into account Work Experience and Art Education in the CCE pattern,the Art / Craft workshop was made interesting with varied Art/Craft Skills introduced by resource persons.

Thorough discussions with complete share of knowledge were exchanged among the teaching throughout the session on the first day.
