Situated on the Jammu-Madhopur highway, the presence of this family style restaurant on NH 1A will serve both people from nearby cities like Pathankot and Madhopur as well as be a suitable stopping point for travellers on their way up north to places like Vaishno Devi,Kashmir,Leh and Ladakh. The newly-opened outlet with a cover of 106 is Nirula’s first franchisee restaurant in Pathankot and its second venture in Punjab. With this launch,Nirula’s has set its foot in tier III cities after its vast presence in tier I and tier II cities across India. Speaking at the launch,Samir Kuckreja,CEO & Managing Director,Nirula’s remarked,”We aim to offer a mix of sumptuous food, great ambience and service to the residents of Pathankot and to tourists and highway travelers. We are glad to launch this outlet in a tie-up with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. We have done two projects earlier with HPCL in Delhi and Jaipur also. We are also on the lookout for more franchisees to set up Nirula’s outlets across Punjab and North India.” Also present at the opening was well-known adventure sports enthusiast Ajeet Bajaj. “I am very fond of Nirula’s signature food and desserts myself. Moreover, being from Pathankot I have always felt the people of this city needed a restaurant like this, one that would give them a wide range of eating options at one place itself,” spoke Bajaj.
