Senior officers of Indian Oil Corporation,Bharat Gas and Hindustan Petroleum,today assured Adesh Partap Singh Kairon,Food and Civil Supplies Minister,Punjab of supplying uninterrupted cooking gas within a week to the states consumers.
The minister has especially convened the meeting of these three major gas companies in order to check the ongoing shortage of gas cylinders in the state.
Explaining the shortage of LPG,R.K.Arora,General Manager,IOC said that the shortage was due to the closure of IOC plant at Panipat. He said that IOC Plants at Jalandhar and Nabha have been working in two shifts a day.
