The post mortem reports of the Manipuri student K Ravi,found dead on Wednesday,revealed no external injuries. His viscera has been sent for further information regarding cause of death. His arms and legs were found to have been eaten by animals.

The post mortem could not be conducted on Thursday due to unavailability of a forensic expert.

Ravis body was cremated by his family members in Chandigarh on Friday. His father said that the death is mysterious and could not have been predicted. He,however,did not rule out the possibility of foul play.

J S Raghu,principal of Government College for Men,said,He was a very gentle kid and had not been involved in fights. It is highly unlikely he was involved with any other criminal activity as well.

The decomposed body of Ravi was found by the police near the lake road.

Ravi,a student of Government College for Men (GCM) had left home for college on August 25,but did not return. He was a second-year BA student.
