Singer,performer,entertainer – when it comes to these three,Suhani is an all-rounder,and you can witness her magic this Wednesday,November at Black Magic,DT Mall. With stunning looks and a voice that stands out,Suhani can leave the audience spellbound and asking for more. “Music runs in my blood,” says the beauty whose father was a tabla player while her maternal grand father,late Shri Shanker Shambhu Pandit,was the first qawwal of India. “I’ve been consistently performing live at concerts and events for the past year,” tells Suhani who has been singing since the age of 13,and dabbles with ease in Indipop,Bollywood,Sufi and Punjabi styles. Apart from doing a couple of shows with Sukhwinder and Ajay Jhinghran,she also took part in the reality show Waar Parivar on Sony TV hosted by Urmila Matondker in 2008. “At present,I am working on an album called as Khoj,which will be out in January end.” In the meantime,get mesmerized by her soulful sufi lounge and electrifying music at Black Magic on Wednesday Night,10 pm onwards.

Singh,along with Idea,is also running a contest looking for new faces for the video of his album. “This one’s got new songs,new youthful feel,and has introduced new sounds and instruments too,” tells Singh,who says it’s increasingly becoming tough to release an album. “There is fear of piracy,plus it’s an expensive proposition now,” says the king of bhangra who has always sung single,”never in a duet”.
