MRSAFPI creates record: 15 cadets clear SSB for NDA & TES courses

Currently, the successful cadets are undergoing medical examinations and awaiting the final merit list. Institute officials confirmed that a couple of cadets are yet to appear for the TES-54 SSB, raising hopes of even more selections.

The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI), SAS Nagar, has scripted history with its highest-ever selection in a single cycle. As many as 15 cadets have cleared the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview for the upcoming NDA-155 and TES (Technical Entry Scheme)-54 courses, scheduled to commence in December 2025.

Currently, the successful cadets are undergoing medical examinations and awaiting the final merit list. Institute officials confirmed that a couple of cadets are yet to appear for the TES-54 SSB, raising hopes of even more selections.

The cadets who cleared the SSB are Gurkirat Singh, Paramdeep Singh, Apaardeep Singh Sawhney, Abhay Pratap Singh Dhillon, Vishwaroop Singh Grewal, Agamjit Singh Virk, Rehaan Yadav, Hemant Sharma, Bhaskar Jain, Sukhpreet Singh, Nimit Amar, Shaurya Vardhan, and Akaash Singh Kushwaha. Cadet Gurnoor Singh cleared the SSB for TES while Prince Dubey achieved the rare distinction of qualifying for both NDA and TES.

Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister Aman Arora congratulated the cadets, saying, “I extend my best wishes to these bright young men for a shining future. Their dedication will make Punjab proud, and I hope they become exemplary officers.”

MRSAFPI director Major General Ajay H Chauhan, VSM (Retd), also lauded the achievement. “This success reflects the institute’s mission to be the premier feeder institution for the Armed Forces. The cadets’ performance is a testament to our relentless efforts,” he said.
