Manpreet appeals to youth in Gurdaspur

Former Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Badal on Monday visited various places in Gurdaspur district to mobilise people in his favour and urged them to join him in Amritsar on November 14.

Manpreet conducted various meetings in the district. Starting with Pathankot,where he also met lawyers and sought their support,he went on to Ferrogiki village,where he addressed the youth in a sports fair and called upon them to be with him in his fight to restore the pride and prestige of the state. Manpreet said he was not anti-farmer,as projected by the state government,but wanted to make the farmers of the state self-sufficient. In Batala,Manpreet met lawyers and also conducted meetings in Kahnuwan and Batala.

The ruling SAD also took potshots at Manpreet on Monday with Sewa Singh Sekhwan,Member SAD PAC and Education Minister,advising the former minister to “shed the mask of a pro-people messiah”.
