Jasan fashions BECC Patiala’s title triumph

Led by all-round performance from Jasan (70 and 2 for 17),Black Elephant Cricket (BECC) Club Patiala registered a thumping 123-run win over Cantt XI Ambala in the final match to clinch the Triangular Cricket Series (U-12) that concluded at the BECC grounds in Patiala on Monday.

Batting first,the formidable Patiala team plundered a mammoth total of 208 runs in 35 overs. Jasan anchored the BECC’s innings with a rock solid knock of 70 runs. Apart from him, Ibadat (33) and Vikram (20) made other noteable contributions for BECC. Himansu bowled well to take four wickets for the Ambala team.

In reply,the Ambala team were bundled out for 85 in 24.4 overs. From the winning team,Gurpreet Nagra (3 for 11) and Jasan (2 for 17) combined well to scalp important dismissals.
