(AP Photo)US President Donald Trump cautioned Iran on Tuesday that it should have signed the nuclear “deal” with America and warned that the Islamic country cannot have a nuclear weapon. Trump urged everyone to “immediately evacuate” Tehran. The US president further announced that he would be exiting the G7 Summit being held in Canada early, due to the prevailing tension in the Middle East. Trump reportedly asked the National Security Council to be ready and convene in the Situation Room. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Trump told the G7 leaders that discussions on securing a ceasefire between Israel and Iran were underway.
What has happened so far: Iran fired fresh round of missile strikes at Tel Aviv early on Tuesday, which triggered sirens across the central Israel and rushed the civilians to take shelter. With fifth day underway for the Israel-Iran conflict, the Israeli death toll has reached 22. At least 45 Iranian women and children have been killed and 75 others injured since Friday, government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said at a press conference today. According to Iran’s health ministry, the total death toll from Israeli strikes has risen to at least 224.
