Head smashed with bricks by sister’s paramour, 27 year old dead

A resident of Dugri, his marriage was scheduled in June. Mother of the victim, Renu Arora was also badly injured during the incident.

On Saturday, a man identified as Harish Kumar, 27,  was brutally murdered after miscreants smashed his head with bricks in his car in Ludhiana’s Salem Tabri area.

A resident of Dugri, his marriage was scheduled in June. Mother of the victim, Renu Arora was also badly injured during the incident.

Reportedly, the accused, Manoj was in relationship with sister of the victim, Rachna.

She was married 14 years ago had allegedly developed illicit relations with one Manoj, resident of Chhawni Mohalla, and she had left her husband’s home.

Renu and Harish were called by the mother of Manoj to come to discuss the matter.

However both parties entered heated argument following which Harish and Renu left in their car.

A brick thrown by Manoj smashed the head of Harish Kumar.

According to the eyewitnesses Harish started bleeding profusely while Renu got unconscious.

Later, Renu took Harish to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital where was declared dead on arrival.

SHO Salem Tabri, Maninder Bedi said that Harish died and FIR under section 302 (murder) had been lodged against nine persons including Manoj and Rachna, sister of deceased.

Tabri also said that all accused are absconding.
