In a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Saini expressed deep sorrow over the hardships faced by the people of the state, and assured all possible assistance from Haryana during this time of natural calamity. He urged the Punjab Government to communicate any specific requirements so that timely and effective support can be extended to the flood-affected communities.

“The Haryana government and the people of Haryana stand in solidarity with the people of Punjab in this difficult time. If there is any need for cooperation—whether in terms of relief materials, manpower, medical assistance, or any other resources—please do let me know immediately,” Saini wrote in his letter to Mann.

“I assure you that whatever assistance you require will be provided by us promptly. I hope that the affected individuals recover from this crisis as soon as possible and that relief reaches every impacted person quickly,” he added.

Later, Saini told reporters he has “offered full support” to Punjab on behalf of “Haryana’s 2.8 crore people who are ready to help their brothers and sisters in Punjab who are affected in these floods”. “We shall provide all necessary support, as and whenever and wherever required by Punjab”.
