Haryana CM Khattar holds public-connect programmes in his constituency
Announces construction of fitness centre on two acres, gym and a library in Karnal village.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Sunday held public connect programmes in his constituency Karnal and said that his government has brought radical changes to ensure maximum governance and minimum government by bringing e-governance reforms.
Khattar also announced multiple projects, including construction of a fitness centre on two acres as demanded by the youths in the village and also announced a gymnasium, library and development of a park in the village.
“Now people do not have to make frequent rounds of the government offices to get their work done. The state government’s ambitious Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) scheme has allowed the citizens to avail the benefits of citizen-centric services while sitting at home,” Khattar said, adding that for this, camps are being organised to motivate people for self-employment.
In another programme at Karnal, Khattar encouraged artists, players, and other youths participating. Apart from the fun of cultural programmes and different sports activities, The Great Khali was the centre of attraction at the event.
“The Raahgiri programme of Karnal has earlier also bagged first place in the entire state and now today the restarting of this Raahgiri programme in Karnal is a praiseworthy effort. Along with the organisers, the audience also has an important role to make such an event a big success. Under the Haryana Uday programme, the state government has given priority to Raahgiri Marathon. By organising such programmes, not only does a person get physical health benefits, but his aura also becomes positive. After the pandemic, the state government has decided to restart cultural programmes such as Raahgiri after many years, under which several programmes have been organised in Gurugram and Panipat. To inspire the youth, a historic marathon was organised in Sirsa, and Pinkathon was organised in Panipat,” Khattar said.
Khattar attempts Judo-Karate
During the event, Khattar also tried his hands in the Judo-Karate competition in the Raahgiri programme. “Sports is a game of intelligence. That’s why young players should train well and bring laurels,” he said.
Commonwealth Championship gold medalist (Shooting) player Anish Bhanwala and London Olympics boxing player Sumit Sangwan also attended the programme.
During this, the CM congratulated world champion Neeraj Chopra for winning the gold medal.
