Chhote Shahar De Munde,literary debut of Surinderpal Sarao expresses the angst of exuberant youth caught in the dreary existence of small towns. Released by Mohan Bhandari on Saturday morning,it took Surinderpal 13 years to pen this Punjabi novel. “It’s about how boys from small towns are trying to survive in a time and space and jostle with invisible forces for survival. I wanted to capture the worthlessness of youth in many shades,be it unemployment or the collapsed system they have to live in,” added Surinderpal.

Art attack!
Tanishq announced a seven-day painting exhibition showcasing the art work of contestants of Mother’s Day Painting Competition organized. Starting on May 9 it will be held at the two Tanishq showrooms in Chandigarh.
