Groversons Group,one of the oldest group in lingerie manufacturing,formally unveiled its exclusive lingerie shop this Tuesday in Phase 5,Mohali. Manufacturers of brands like ‘Paris Beauty’,‘Paris Beauty Premium’,‘Miss-T’,‘Poem’,‘Sparsh’,‘Sunaina’ etc,the group has been catering to women across all ages – from comfort conscious grannies to fashionista teens since 1953. “We now plan on opening 15 exclusive outlets in Punjab. Our products are reasonably priced between Rs 50 to Rs 500 to cater to every economic section of society,” informed Rakesh Grover,Managing Director,Groversons Group who inaugurated the lingerie outlet. Established in 1953,the group has come a long way with an annual turnover of Rs 100 crores and an ISO 9001:2000 certification. “Around 250 distributors and channel partners are associated with our group directly and products are available at 12,000 retail counters and leading chain stores,” Grover mentioned. The Mohali store would stock coordinated sets of fancy bras,panties,slips,camisoles and sports bras. As an inaugural offer,customers would get a gift on the purchase of Rs 500 or above.

DR Pankaj Garg,a senior consultant surgeon,Fortis Hospital Mohali,has been invited to present two clinical research papers in the ‘Best Paper’ category at the annual conference of Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) in Coimbatore. Dr Garg has also been invited to chair a scientific session on piles and anal fistula. He’s an internationally renowned surgeon and has expertise in laparoscopic (key-hole surgery) and colo-rectal surgery (piles and anal fistula). The papers are to be presented on laparoscopic repair of hernia and taking steps to decrease mortality (death rate) due to breast cancer. The Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) is the largest association of surgeons in India with more than 15,000 surgeons as its members. This year’s conference is scheduled from December 25 to 30 in Coimbatore and more than 4,000 surgeons from all over India and world are expected to participate in it.
