Soh Koh,the designer one-stop shop in Sector 26 is plumping up its portfolio. With as many as 40 designer labels under its roof,Soh Koh has now added another one by bringing celebrity designer Payal Kothari’s label ‘Verushcka’ to Chandigarh. Kothari who designs footwear and clutches for celebrities and the jet set,would now retail at Chandigarh exclusively through Soh Koh. Loved for her high heels and elegance,Kothari’s shoes are handcrafted keeping in mind international fashion trends. Verushcka shoes have made it to the ramps for designers like Rina Dhaka,Nikasha and Payal Singhal and Surily Goel. Kothari has also designed shoes for Manish Malhotra’s Spring Summer Lakme Finale show 2008 and for Vikram Phadnis’ opening show for Wills Delhi Fashion Week this year. The range is priced Rs 2,000 onwards. Informing about the new arrivals,Naini Gupta of Soh-Koh mentioned,“It is a great feeling to add Payal Kothari’s label in our list of designers. The basic philosophy of our store is to bring the designer wear and accessories for people of Chandigarh. As far as designer footwear is concerned,we are glad to commence with Payal Kothari’s Verushcka. By the end of this season we are hopeful of adding a couple of more exciting names in our list of footwear designers.”
