Indian designer Ritu Kumar is back in town with laurels after her stint at the Spanish fashion week,the Valladolid De Moda held in the last week of June. In fact,Kumar and veteran Spanish designer Elyo Berhanyer were honoured for their contributions to fashion by the Mayor of Valladolid at the first ever India-Spain fashion meet,which preceded the week. Bernhanyer and I did the finale of the fashion week and the show received a standing ovation, gushes Kumar,who had showcased a selection of gowns that former beauty queens like Dia Mirza,Priyanka Chopra,Lara Dutta and Yukta Mookhey had worn at international pageants.
