Failed in test,got the job

According to rules,1.5 marks (30 per cent) were needed to clear the descriptive paper.

According to rules,1.5 marks (30 per cent) were needed to clear the descriptive paper. But none of the nine candidates selected for the post of DPE (Degree in Physical Education) secured 1.5 marks. These candidates — roll numbers below — have joined the service,despite failing in the descriptive test.

A candidate cleared for the post of NTT (nursery trained teacher) — roll number 230123102 — got 1.25 marks in the descriptive test but was selected.

Interview
A science (non-medical) candidate in SC category — roll number 120112222 — got zero in the interview but was selected. After Newsline inquired about it,DPI (S) Sunil Bhatia said they have seen the error and put the selection on hold.

Another science (non-medical) candidate in general category — roll number 120113385 — got zero in the interview and was rejected. The applicant with the next roll number — 120113386 — got eight marks in the interview,was selected and sent a joining letter.

Subsequently,it was found out that an error was made. The marks of these applicants were interchanged. The one who was given eight marks had got zero. The matter is being examined by the DPI (S) office.
