True fiction. The title gets you wondering,for its almost an impossible combination. One look at the photographs of French photographer Bernard Faucon and you know why.Works of art and imagination,these photographs are a melange from his various series,the work of his lifetime. Green fields are lighted with a fireball in the sky,Christ on the cross,stream of red (is it blood?) flows past,as people,no puppets pose for a photograph.A bed of flowers,gold sticks in the wilderness.there is a thin line between the real and unreal. The photographs are magnificent in thought,colour,expression and will transport you to another world. The exhibition is part of the BONJOUR INDIA - Festival of France showcasing performing arts,lifestyle,visual arts,cinema,heritage,dialogues and debates,science and education and economic counters. Organized by the French Embassy,Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy and Alliance Francaise de Chandigarh,True Fiction is on till February 13.
