Haryana minister and senior BJP leader Anil Vij on Friday urged people to express their love on Radha-Krishna day instead of Valentine’s Day. "If you have love and want to express it, it should not be on Valentine’s Day it should be on "Radha Krishana" day, their eternal love gives Heavenly Ashirvad as Gift all the year," Vij, a bachelor and currently holds the charge of energy, transport and labour portfolios in Haryana, posted on X. Later in the evening, Vij issued a statement that said “Radha-Krishna's love is eternal and divine, which remains as love and blessings throughout the year”. “Radha-Krishna's love symbolises sacrifice, devotion and dedication that is not just a celebration for a day but a lifelong experience. Love should not be confined to a particular day but should be felt every day in its pure and sacred form,” the statement said. The seven-time BJP MLA is known for speaking out his heart on several occasions. Last week, he fired salvos at Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, forcing the BJP Central leadership to send state in-charge Dr Satish Poonia to pacify an agitated Vij.
