Available in a wide range of hues,from deep red to white,yellow,crimson,violet,pink and also with spots,this grows well in areas that receive sunlight for a short duration. The flowers are borne in bunches at the plant terminal and the plant needs some staking. The best time to plant lilium is October. I had sown radish a few days back. It rained two days later. It is,however,too late to check the menace at this time. The spraying with bavistin,dissolved at one gram to a liter of water,has to begin three to four months after the fruits appear and has to be done on monthly basis.
