Chandigarh: On the third day of the ongoing Pracheen Kala Kendra Nritya and Sangeet Sammelan at Tagore Theatre,Padmashree Vidushi Sumitra Guha,a top grade AIR artist performed and was accompanied by Anup Ghosh on the tabla and Paromita Mukherjee on the harmonium. The second session belonged to Padmashree Devyani,a French national exponent of Bharatnatyam classical dance.

Chandigarh: A training workshop of Safai Karamcharis of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh was organised under the National Rural Health Mission on Friday at Bal Bhawan,Sector 23. The workers were made aware of TB and AIDS. 400 karamcharis participated.

CHANDIGARH: UT Police along with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Government of India on Friday organised a workshop for the UT Police officials on ‘Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financial Terrorism’.
