‘Cong failed to deliver on development front’

Addressing a public meeting at Sadar Bazar in Sector 19 on Sunday,Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Haffiz Anwar ul Haq said the claims of the Congress of having done development work in the city are false.

Haffiz undertook a padyatra and gave a patient hearing to the problems faced by shopkeepers.

He said that Sadar Bazaar does not have basic amenities at par with other markets in the city and he would ensure the implementation of developmental plans for the market if he comes to power.

Criticising Pawan Kumar Bansal,Haq said the Congress candidate has failed on all fronts and basic problems of the residents remain unresolved in the last two decades.

He said that Bansal’s manifesto always includes local issues like balanced Rent Act,but every time he fails to fulfill his promises.

Haq addressed several rallies and public meetings at Sector 19,Sector 26,police line and Manimajra during his second last day of campaigning.

RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav is scheduled to address a rally in the city on Monday. Many senior leaders of RJD and Cabinet ministers are expected to accompany him on this occasion.
