Clashes occur in two eateries

Two incidents of clashes were reported in the city Saturday evening. However,both ended up in a compromise.

In one of the incidents,a resident of Chandigarh along with his wife had come to Pal Dhaba,Sector 28 late Saturday evening in his SUV. Next to him,the owner of Pal Dhabha had parked his car. As he got out,the door of his car hit the door of the SUV. This lead to a heated argument between the two. The owner of the eatery along with his employees beat the other person who was then taken to the GMCH,Sector 32. “The families have had a mutual compromise,but we are waiting for the medical reports of the person who was beaten up. If the reports suggest anything severe,we will take action,” said DSP South,Vijay Kumar.

In another incident,a person who had come to dine at the Kava restaurant,Sector 26 had an argument with the manager of the hotel regarding the parking space. The argument turned a little violent and the police was called on the spot. However the two parties had a compromise and no case was registered.
