Chimpanzee dies of infection at Chhatbir Zoo

A 30-year-old male chimpanzee,Rustam,died at the Chhatbir Zoo on Thursday. It was brought from the Delhi Zoo nearly five years ago. The postmortem report revealed that severe haemorrhage in vital organs due to an acute infection was the reason behind the death. Samples of vital organs have been sent to laboratory for further investigation.
