The conservation and restoration of Bunga Ramgarhia inside the Golden Temple complex is in full swing and the work is likely to be completed by June end. The Shiormani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee undertaking the conservation work with the help of district officials has also decided to declare Bunga as a museum of history,placing records and pictures relating to Sikh gurus.The proposed museum will contain material and matter related to Sikh history from 1708 AD to 1800 AD, said Avtar Singh Makkar,SGPC chief,in a press statement here on Friday. The SGPC,he said has decided to call expression of interest for the services of renowned museum designers. DC KS Pannu ,Dalmegh Singh,secretary SGPC, Kiranjot Kaur,member SGPC,also held a meeting with officials and representatives of Ramgarhia Sabha and undertook a detailed review of the progress of work.
