The newest hotel to offer accommodation and services is The Chandigarh Ashok that opened doors formally this Wednesday in Zirakpur. The hotel is also the country’s first ITDC Ashok-Alliance hotel.

Located on the Delhi-Chandigarh highway at a convenient distance from the airport,The Chandigarh Ashok pegs its modern look and range of amenities as its USP. “We are strategically located and promise to deliver five-star services and facilities,” says the hotel’s general manager Manendra Singh. Under the Ashok-Alliance brand,the hotel would share the experience of operational expertise,marketing inputs,training assistance and other such support of ITDC’s Ashok group. The Chandigarh Ashok with its 64 rooms and two suites is being steered by entrepreneur BR Grover,also the hotel’s managing director. “The region is making progress in various arenas and we are geared up to meet the rising demand in the hospitality sector,” says Grover. The rooms at The Chandigarh Ashok pack in the usual modern amenities like LCDs,wi-fi connectivity,work stations,baby sitter to list a few. “We also have a spacious banquet hall,a lounge for small get-togethers,a conference hall,open air terrace,spa and fitness centres,” says Singh. The hotel also houses a multi-cuisine restaurant and bar.
