BJP expels 11party rebels

Taking a strong note of anti-party activities,the BJP,on Sunday,expelled 11 party leaders,who are contesting against official candidates in the Municipal Corporation elections.

Taking a strong note of anti-party activities,the BJP,on Sunday,expelled 11 party leaders,who are contesting against official candidates in the Municipal Corporation elections. While 10 of these leaders have entered the fray as Independents for the Amritsar Municipal Corporation,the other BJP leader is contesting an Independent in the Patiala Municipal Corporation polls. Those who have been expelled from the party in Amritsar include Vipul Mehra of ward no 8,Nitu Mahajan and Pappu Mahajan of ward no 9, Arun Puppal of ward no 46,Manju Puppal of ward no 47,Naresh Kaka of ward no 49,Manjinder Kaur W/o Surinder of ward no 54,Gurpreet Singh Mintoo of ward no 55,Karnail Singh Kalli of ward no 57 and Ashwani Bawa of ward no 65.

Amar Chand Dabbi of ward no 34 in the Patiala Municipal Corporation polls,is the other expelled leader. BJP state unit president Ashwani Sharma has further warned that if any BJP worker was caught campaigning against party contestants,they would also face expulsion.
