Wellness facials and muted bridal make-up are the order of the day
One can learn a lot about grace and beauty from Dr Blossom Kochhar. Known for her natural beauty, the expert who has a range of aromatherapy products, was in town with daughter and make-up artist Samantha Kochhar to talk about the latest in the world of beauty and the current bridal trends. She addressed a gathering of over 200 women. The beauty industry is extremely dynamic and trends change at a fast pace. We make it a point to share our ideas and thoughts with those involved in the business on a regular basis, said Blossom. With the festive season around the corner, she also spoke about how Indian brides no longer sport over-the-top make-up. It is all about elegance and natural beauty, pointed out Blossom, who also showcased her new products from the Aroma Magic kitty.
Wellness facials are the new buzz. They help improve ones skin and address problems like headaches and comprise a smorgasbord of herbs and essential oils, she informed. Everyone is into looking after themselves. Its a whole body, mind and soul approach, which is why we decided the same with our beauty products. The expert herself strives to be happy from within. It reflects on the outside. Sniffing on some lavender oil during a stressful day can help immensely, she adds.
While those in attendance took down notes,Samantha demonstrated bridal hairstyles and make-up trends for the season. It is a muted look. The glitter and glam is out, said Samantha. When it comes to the hairstyles, ditch the top knot for a lower bun. Also, start preparing for the D-day in advance. Staying stress-free,working out and regular beauty appointments can go a long way, she added.
