Bakery raided,owner booked

A raid at the Deep Bakeries,H No 170,Shastri Nagar Manimajra,Chandigarh,was conducted on Friday under the supervision of Joint Director,Food & Supplies Department,UT.
During the raid it was found that the bakery owner was using PDS Kerosene illegally without obtaining any license from a competent authority.
In addition to this,40 quintals of edible oil was found at the site which violates the Chandigarh Food Articles (Licensing and control) order1991.
During the raid,it was found that the bakery was being run in an unhygienic condition with no cross ventilation and no fire fighting arrangement.
It was also noticed that three child labourers were employed at this bakery. A case in this regard has been referred to the Labour Department,UT,Chandigarh for necessary action.
The Food & Supplies Department has lodged an FIR against the owner Satbir Singh.
The samples of the bakery products have been handed over to the Health Department,UT,Chandigarh for further analysis.
