Mohali:After being tested throughout the championship,the final match of the men’s category turned out to be surprisingly easy for Arsh Bulland. The trainee of YMCA Total Tennis Academy,Sector 11 and student of Government College of Commerce,Sector 42,was hardly tested by Nikhil Sandhu,who despite being seeded first in the men’s category hardly made any impact in the match,and lost 2-6,3-6 in the Paragon Total tennis championship held at Paragon School in Mohali on Tuesday. Looking in smashing form right from the beginning,Arsh asserted his supremacy and played some delectable shots to clinch the first set 6-2. Nikhil tried hard to stop a rampaging Arsh but failed to seize the opportunities that came his way and lost the set and the match to the better player of the day. The match lasted over only 90 minutes. The final match was played on Tuesday as bad light had rendered match unplayable on Monday.
