UT Police Wednesday arrested a 45-year-old man for raping a 17-year-old in Balmiki Rishi Ashram inside the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). Mahavir alias Sant Rishi Ram was arrested by the UT police at about 8 pm Wednesday.

Traders meet Mayor

The traders of Sector 17 met the Mayor to highlight the plight of the market which they claimed was adversely affecting business. The traders opposed the proposal of the MC to charge hourly parking fees. They stated that the market is already suffering due to the opening of malls.
