PANCHKULA: The Panchkula Welfare Federation has written to the Haryana Chief Minister demanding reconsideration into the decision by Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) wherein for transfer of property in the case of death of owners of the plots/ houses,only registered wills will be accepted.

National Crafts Mela starts today

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh National Crafts Mela will be held from October 8 to 17 at Kalagram. This is the third edition of the event and is a joint venture of the Chandigarh Administration and North Zone Cultural Centre. It will be inaugurated by Pawan Kumar Bansal. The theme will be Colours and Sounds of South India. Handloom and craft persons have been invited including Shilpa Gurus,national awardees and Sant Kabir awardees.
