A three member special investigation team (SIT) was formed on Friday to investigate into the murder of a man found at Rajendra Park in the high security zone of the Punjab chief minister’s residence on Thursday.

Chandigarh:A three member special investigation team (SIT) was formed on Friday to investigate into the murder of a man found at Rajendra Park in the high security zone of the Punjab chief minister’s residence on Thursday. “We are exploring the possibility of enmity or robbery,as the area where the body was found is also frequented by druggies,” said SHO Neeraj Sarna,a member of the SIT.

JD(U) conducts signature campaign

Chandigarh:The Janata Dal (United) today put up its second signature campaign camp at Housing Board Chowk,Manimajra to get public support for the creation of Chandigarh as a state. A total of 2,018 signatures have been collected so far.
