Local Congress leader Bhagwantpal Singh Sachar said Gandhi, who arrived in the city on a chartered plane, has booked a room at one of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC)-run inns for his overnight stay.
“Additionally, he has a room booked at a private hotel near Darbar Sahib. While there is only one room booked at the SGPC Inn for Rahul Gandhi, his security personnel may require more rooms, so alternative arrangements have been made at the private hotel,” added Sachhar.
