The all-new Profile brings together various beauty professionals from the city under one roof

For an inner market that wasn’t so buzzing a couple of years back,the Sector 8 one does itself proud. Today,the market is dotted with numerous shopping options and the latest to camp in here is the all-new Profile,a unisex salon and spa that was formally inaugurated this Wednesday by Shabnam Singh,best known as Yuvraj’s doting mom. While the place is spanking new,the people steering it are veterans. “It’s a coming together of various beauty professionals from the city all under one roof,” mentions Reva Dharni,the managing partner at Profile as she introduced us to the rest of the staff. Yes,there are many familiar faces. Leading the pack is Zahid,a well-known hair stylist from the city,who was earlier with another beauty salon before he branched out. “As far as beauty services go,we have Ajay Thapa another well-known expert joining us,” explains Reva as we notice the subtle interiors of the salon spread on two levels. “That’s our spa and facial section,” mentions Dharni who herself has an experience of over two decades in the beauty industry. “I have been running a similar setup called Persona in Mansadevi Complex for sometime now and realised the need to spread wings,” admits Reva who has also tied up with well-known tattoo expert Nipi Jassi from Delhi who will be offering his services here as well. “A tattoo artist was really needed and we are happy to bring in Nipi here,” we heard Reva say. What’s also new is the state of the art pedicure and massage station. “Everyone’s stressed these days and we wanted to make even a pedicure a truly relaxing experience,” remarked Dharni as we quizzed the glowing Shabnam Singh on her beauty ritual. “I don’t really have one. I guess I am too impatient to sit through the pampering,” she joked.
