Abohar boy tops PMET

After a successful pre-medical entrance test,Baba Farid University of health sciences declared the results within twenty hours.

After a successful pre-medical entrance test,Baba Farid University of health sciences declared the results within twenty hours. Rajat Khurana of Abohar has topped the general category with a score of 704 marks while Manjit Kumar who scored 692 marks,the slot is jointly shared by Bhavna Gupta of Mandi Mullanpur and Amanpreet Singh of Faridkot. Both scored 688 marks.

Harsh Bhagrva of Phagwara topped the SC category with 648 marks while Akashdeep Kaur of village Balluwana Zeerakpur topped the BC category with 620 marks.

Dr SS Gill VC Baba Farid University of Health Sciences says that a total of 9082 had applied for the test out of which 8759 appeared. A total of 1701 students in general category have cleared the test while 334 in SC and 159 in BC category have cleared the test. These students will now compete for 717 MBBS seats.
