AAP Punjab chief Aman Arora accepts dope test challenge, urges Jakhar to ‘select date, place’
In Ludhiana, Arora said that BJP state president Sunil Jakhar should in fact "take the lead" and "select the date and place."

Making an entry into the “dope test politics” going on in Punjab in run-up to Ludhiana West by poll slated for June 19, AAP’s Punjab president-cum cabinet minister Aman Arora Wednesday said that he was fully ready to “get dope test done” and “make his income and property details public.”
In Ludhiana, Arora said that BJP state president Sunil Jakhar should in fact “take the lead” and “select the date and place.”
“Not just Punjab, but state heads of political parties across all states should get dope tests done and publicly declare the details of their properties. Let’s begin from Punjab. I urge Jakhar saab to select the date and place. Aman Arora will be there,” he said.
Arora said that “being an experienced politician” who had a long innings with the Congress, and is now with the BJP which had an alliance with SAD in the past, Jakhar should “take the lead as he has good relations with politicians from all parties.”
“I urge Jakhar saab to select the time, place for the dope test. I will be there with the documents of my property/income details. I wholeheartedly welcome and appreciate this idea of state presidents of all political parties in Punjab undergoing dope tests and declaring their assets,” said Arora.
Arora further said, “I am also elated that the idea on which AAP was born, that political leaders should be accountable to people, was now also being embraced by other parties.”
“I thank Jakhar saab with folded hands that now even he is endorsing principles on which AAP has its foundation. Being the state chief of the ruling party, I take it as a personal responsibility to accept and welcome this challenge. The state presidents of all parties should make details of their properties public and get dope tests done,” said Arora.
“I also request Jakhar saab that we should not limit it to Punjab. People of other states also need honest leaders. We can start from Punjab but this idea should travel to other states. You (Jakhar) can talk to (JP) Nadda and (PM Narendra) Modi and I will talk to (Arvind) Kejriwal. We should suggest to them that state presidents of all parties from all states should get their dope tests done and declare property details,” said Arora
