With just one day left to file nomination papers for Lok Sabha elections,58 more contestants today filed their papers today in Haryana,raising the total number of such candidates to 177.
A maximum of 10 candidates filed their nomination papers from Hisar Assembly constituency and eight each from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh and Faridabad constituencies,seven each from Gurgaon and Sirsa,five each from Kurukshetra,Karnal and Rohtak,two from Sonepat and one from Ambala.
Those who filed their nomination papers from Hisar included INLD candidates namely Sampat Singh and Krishna,INC candidate Randhir and Gulab Singh of Nilopa (United). Also,six persons filed their nomination papers as independent candidates. These included Parvesh,Azad Singh,Umrao Singh,Devi Lal,Rajinder and Nand Kishore.
Those who filed their nomination papers from Faridabad included Nissar Ahmed of Rashtriya Naujawan Dal,Avtar Singh Bhadana of Congress,Suraj Bhan of Rashtriya Janadhikar Party,Subhash of Rashtrawadi Sena and four independents namely Pandit Roshan Lal Sharma,Tikka Ram Hooda,Ramesh Chand and Brij Bhushan.
From the Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Parliamentary constituency,those who filed their nomination papers today included Jai Singh of Indian Justice Party,Mahender Singh of Bharatiya Bahujan Party,Neel Kamal alias Neelam Aggarwal of Samast Bharatiya Party,Ved Parkash of Niswarth Sewa Party,Abhey Singh of Raj Dal and three independents namely Pyare Lal,Dharminder and Vinod Kumar.
From Kurukshetra,those who filed nomination papers included Naveen Jindal and Savitri Jindal of the Congress,Jaswant Cheema of Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) and two independents,namely Vivek and Ashwani.
From Karnal,Hawa Singh of Rashtriya Janhit Party,Ram Pal of Rashtriya Sahara Party and Anoop of Upekshit Samaj Party,and two independents,namely Nawab Ali and Narendra Sroha filed their nomination papers.
Those who filed their nomination papers from Gurgaon included Dr Zakir Hussain and Nasima of BSP,Dinesh Chander Yadav of NCP,Kamal Yadav of BJP,Rao Narvir Singh of Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) and two independents namely Jatinder Singh Thakran and Manvir Singh.
Those who filed their nomination papers from Sirsa included Sita Ram and Mani Ram of INLD,Rajinder Parsad of Haryana Janhit Congress (BL),Santosh of BSP,Hans Raj of RPI and two independents namely Shanker Lal and Satbir Singh.
From Rohtak Parliamentary constituency,those who filed their nomination papers included Raj Kumar and Karan of BSP and three independents,namely Jasbir,Ashok and Kapur Singh. From Sonepat,those who filed their nomination papers included Umesh Sharma of Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) and independent candidate,Balwan Singh. Only one person,namely Mangat Ram,filed his nomination papers as an independent candidate from Ambala.
