MSU students protest demanding first year polytechnic exam results
VVS president Parth Pandya said, “First-year exams were held 45 days ago but result has not been declared. The university has already scheduled the ATKT exam on April 10... How will students know whether they have to take the ATKT exam?”

Students under the banner of Vidyarthi Vikas Sangh (VVS) of the MS University (MSU) in Vadodara staged a protest at the head office on Wednesday, demanding that the marksheets of the first year examinations of the polytechnic faculty be released immediately, as the Allowed to Keep Terms (ATKT) examination is on April 10.
The students attempted to force open the locked grills of the head office on being told that the vice-chancellor was unavailable to accept their memorandum highlighting the marksheet issue.
On being told that the vice-chancellor was unavailable, the students sat in protest, chanting a Ram Dhun and tried to break open the grills.
VVS president Parth Pandya said, “First-year exams were held 45 days ago but result has not been declared. The university has already scheduled the ATKT exam on April 10… How will students know whether they have to take the ATKT exam?”
Pandya added that the students would “go on to shut the polytechnic faculty” if the results are not declared.
While officials of the MSU, including Vice-Chancellor VK Shrivastav, were unavailable for comment, an official said, “The faculty will defer the dates of ATKT if the results are not declared… so the students need not worry…”
