The police suspect the incident to be a failed dacoity bid but they are also probing if the culprits were contract killers.
A police officer said the accused were wearing helmets and came on two-wheelers.
The accused initially threatened the staff to give away gold ornaments. When the staff resisted, they opened fire and fled from the spot.

The injured have been identified as Appuram and Abhiram. They have been shifted to the M S Ramaiah Hospital for treatment.
A police officer said, “One person has sustained leg injuries and another one was hit in the stomach. The accused stayed in the shop for about a minute before fleeing, leaving behind a pistol.”
Director General of Police (DGP) Alok Mohan and Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda visited the spot. The police are checking CCTV footage to nab the accused.
