The SIT had obtained the arrest warrant from the court and has been actively seeking information regarding the notices issued against Prajwal Revanna. The court, in turn, requested detailed information from the SIT about the lookout and blue corner notices previously issued.

The SIT later provided comprehensive information to the court, which subsequently led to the arrest warrant. The court also noted that there was no need for a charge sheet at this stage, emphasising the severity of the case.

The SIT is also now preparing to issue a red corner notice through the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This move is expected to lead to the eventual cancellation of Prajwal’s passport, which will be a major setback to the MP.

Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda on Saturday said action must be taken as per the law against his grandson and JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna over the sexual abuse allegations.
