Zadaphia vows to end Narendra Modi rule

MJP says it would not allow Gujarat CM to realise his 'dream' of becoming the Prime Minister.

MahaGujarat Janata Party (MJP) president Gordhan Zadaphia on Friday said that his party would not allow Chief Minister Narendra Modi to realise his “dream” of becoming the Prime Minister.

Staging a road blockade in the Paldi area of the city against “corruption” and “poor law and order situation” in the state,Zadaphia said MJP would continue the movement against Modi to ensure that he lost power in the state. “Once he loses power in the state,he can never dream of becoming the Prime Minister,” he added.

The former BJP leader said Modi was fast losing the confidence of people after the Sanjay Joshi episode in Mumbai. He said the registration of a criminal complaint against former CM Keshubhai Patel and others, including himself, indicated that Modi was losing the support of people.

It was his nervousness that motivated “Narendrabhai to get the towering Patel leader implicated in a fabricated case,” he said, adding,“He seems to have become scared of the support of people to the MJP and Modi-baiters within the BJP.”

On Joshi’s resignation from the BJP,he said,“It was Joshi who suffered because of Modi, and in future, the entire BJP will suffer due to Modi.”
